1. ADMINISTRATION OF ANESTHESIA

A typical body lift is performed under full general anesthesia.

2. OPENING INCISIONS

Incision length and patterns are vary significantly based on the following:

HOW LONG IS THE RECOVERY TIME?

Swelling and bruising are very common after the surgery which can be minimized with pain medication initially intravenous and oral pain medication afterwards. SHOULD I NEED TO STAY AT THE HOSPITAL AFTER BODY LIFT?

Most patients remain in the hospital between 24-48 hours after the procedure.
